Alex Makar: Alex Makar is an aspiring Polish-Canadian speculative fiction writer. He loves reading and writing stories about secondary and/or future worlds which often include descriptions of food and furrowed brows. He has an MA in Humanities (people seem to want to know this kind of thing) and enjoys playing board games and hanging out with his wife and kids. In his quest for validation, he is hoping to publish his first short story before he REALLY starts losing his hair. "One day," he says. "One day."
